Grad Gift
“Laurea di Lorenzo” is a visual identity designed for the gifts of my graduation lunch.
The identity draws from multiple layers, including the Piedmontese dialect, my personal origins, and the destination of my graduation trip. These elements come together to form a shared cultural and personal framework, shaping both the tone and the visual language of the project.
Rather than explicitly stating the field of study, the project communicates it indirectly, allowing the discipline to emerge through visual and conceptual choices, by showing it rather than naming it.

Style reference
This summer, my graduation journey took me to Vietnam, traveling from north to south.
The turtle’s style is inspired by Vietnamese illustration, especially the playful and graphic language found in the souvenirs and gadgets of the Vina Design Store in Ho Chi Minh City.
This magnet translates that experience into a small, personal visual memory.

Why the Turtle?
In Vietnam, the symbol of students is not the owl, but the turtle. At the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, stone turtles support the stelae dedicated to the most accomplished graduates.
The turtle moving forward carries a simple reminder: it doesn’t matter how long the journey is, what matters is reaching the goal with wisdom, perseverance… and a clear head (Testa).
The Confetti (Caramelle)
These are not traditional ceremony confetti.
They are handmade sweets by CaraMelle, a small confectionery chosen
for its unique creations and its location in a small town in the province of Cuneo.
The selection includes Cri Cri, Ghiaie, and Sassolini from the Varaita Valley.
